Serbia's Forgotten Paws is a registered charity that aims to improve the lives and welfare of the dogs and cats in two shelters that we work with, as well as neutering the strays in Serbia. One shelter which is based in Nis is run by Jelena, she has over 380 dogs in her care.  The second shelter is in Mislodjin, this shelter is run by Goran with around 100 dogs.

Formed in 2012 by a small group of unpaid volunteers from across the UK, brought together by the impact of the powerful images and distressing stories found online regarding stray animals and animal shelters in Niš and Belgrade, Serbia.

Please view our 'Project' page to learn more about our objectives for the charity.

Our 'Adopt a Dog' page details just some of the gorgeous pups who are looking for their forever homes.

The 'Sponsor a Dog' page gives you the opportunity to make a regular payment for your chosen pup which will help us achieve all of our objectives.

Our 'Cats' page shows you the beautiful cats rescued from the streets who also desperately need your help and support.

Please see our "News" For updates on progress so far on our objectives and also photos from our latest trips to both shelters.

'Fundraising packs' are now available. Whether you need a pack, a sponsor form, an adoption or sponsor poster you can download everything you need to help you have a fantastic event.

'Donations' Page show you how to donate plus details where your money goes and how much each aspect of care costs - if you donate for a specific purpose we guarantee your money will only go towards this. We can provide photos and receipts upon request. We also have items to purchase to help support the project

'Fostering' We are always looking for good reliable foster homes here in the UK. For more information about fostering take a look at our News page for further information.
